SNB Announces Board Appointments

Symphony New Brunswick Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of David Shore and Katie Bowden of Saint John and Lise Léger-Anderson of Caraquet to the Board of Directors. 

Katie Bowden is an accomplished marketing and communications executive and current President and Chief Creative Officer of Duke Creative Collective.  She is an award-winning creative consultant and strategic advisor with more than 20 year’s experience in marketing and brand strategy, creative development and project management.  Her skills will serve the organization well as we continue to evolve our historic and bespoke brand in New Brunswick.    

David Shore, a bright legal mind brings to the Symphony experience in compliance, policy and internal regulatory matters.  David graduated 1st in his class from the Dalhousie University, Schulich School of Law in 2014.  He has since worked as an articling student with Lenczner Slaght Royce Smith Griffin LLP in Toronto and Cox & Palmer as an Associate Lawyer in Saint John.  Currently he is Legal Counsel for the New Brunswick Financial and Consumer Services Commission.  David is keen to help lead Symphony New Brunswick as we recover from the impacts of Covid – 19 and work to rebuild our presence in New Brunswick. 

Lise Léger-Anderson, retired educator, recently relocated from Montreal back to her home in Caraquet.  Lise has a profound love of music and experience supporting the arts through Opéra de Montréal, Montreal Symphony Orchestra and Orchestre Métropolitain. Following her retirement and return to New Brunswick, Lise supports a wide range of music enterprises in Acadie and serves as President of Jeunesses Musicales Péninsule Acadienne and Vice-président of the Festival Acadien in Caraquet.  Her passion is introducing the people of Northeast New Brunswick to musical excellence.  Lise is looking forward to helping expand our reach into the northern part of the province and fulfilling our mandate to share live symphonic music with all New Brunswickers.
